Dear clouds

please part

let the sun in

just a small shaft of light,

a glimmer of hope,

to help me along

this dark

path

Poem: Devil’s prisoner

meme steve_doritos

You lash me with your

forked tongue

and wield it over me

like a trident.

I long to escape

but fear I will always be the

devils prisoner.

Poem: I am a frame

meme girl

I am a frame

hanging on the wall,

observing

but never

partaking.

Surrounded in my

wooden cage,

eternal.

Poem: The red monster

scumbag periods

The red monster haunts me,

stirring

gnashing

poking

pulsing

squeezing

the very soul of my being

leaving me limp

weeping

helpless

Poem: You cut me

sad_o_469497

You cut me deep when

you said all

I do is sit around reading books

all day

I stayed silent while

my heart slid to

the floor

and stood naked and raw

gasping for air.

Poem: Emptiness

meme skeletonI feel a burning

emptiness

inside is a gaping hole that

aches to be filled

by something other

than tears and

deep breathing

At the end of the course, you’ll have a blog you’re proud and excited to publish, and that others are excited to read. Here’s how it works:

  • Assignments fall into three broad categories — publishing posts and pages, customizing your blog, and engaging with the community — and are designed to build on one another.
  • We’ll post a new assignment here on The Daily Post each weekday at 12AM GMT. Each assignment will contain all the inspiration and instructions you need to complete…
